RIBBON CUTTING: White Pine Food City

White Pine Food City remodeling complete

Food City cut the ribbon on their recently-remodeled and updated store November 12 in White Pine. After closing the video rental section in the summer, work has continued to redo the entire store in order to offer better customer service. Manager Raymond Hurst said more than 1,850 items had been added in the grocery section along with more space for seafood, packaged meat, produce and organic products. The remodel included hiring 6-8 new employees.
