Four Shoney’s Restaurants OPEN Christmas Day
Four selected Shoney’s Restaurants will be open at 8:00AM on Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25th. In recent years, more and more people are dining out for Christmas Day and Shoney’s Family Restaurant provides a wholesome, friendly atmosphere to enjoy dining with your family.
The four locations open will be:
In Knoxville – at 4410 Western Avenue, near the intersection of I-640 and Western Avenue. Open 8:00am to 8:00pm. 865-525-2242
In Knoxville - at 100 Walker Springs Road, at the intersection of Walker Springs Road and Kingston Pike. Open 8:00 am to 8:00pm. 865-693-4411
In Maryville – at 1021 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway, near the intersection of W. Lamar Alexander Parkway and 129 bypass. Open 8:00am to 8:00pm. 865-977-4412
In Dandridge – at 120 Sharon Drive, near I-40 and exit # 417. Open 8:00am to 5:00pm. 865-397-6444.
Mr. Bill Baugh, President and CEO of Shoneys of Knoxville, Inc. said, “In the past few years we received a lot of positive response from our customers, thanking us for being open on Christmas Day. Again this year, we want to offer Shoney’s regular customers an opportunity to enjoy a good, holiday-style buffet on Christmas Day. We know a lot of our customers don’t have family nearby, and it can get kind of lonely. We also know that there aren’t a lot of options on Christmas Day, especially for travelers, and we want to provide a delicious, bountiful buffet for their dining needs.”
Mr. Baugh adds, “We are fortunate that many of our dedicated employees volunteered to work on Christmas Day, rearranging their plans with their families. Our employees personally know a lot of our regular customers; they’re like family to us and we wanted to be open to serve them.”
All four selected Shoney’s restaurants will open at 8:00am for breakfast until 11:00am. Beginning at 11:00am the dinner buffet will include traditional ham, turkey & cornbread dressing, seafood and many other meat items, tasty potato and vegetable choices, along with Shoney’s fresh salad and fruit bar; all available until early evening.
