The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce Business & Industry Golf Tournament held on Thursday, May 26 at Patriot Hills Golf Club was a huge success. Overall, 79 players making up 20 teams participated in the event despite spotty weather. Each player received complimentary lunch sponsored by Five Star Food Service and complimentary dinner sponsored by Leia’s Wrap Café. Players
also received a gift bag filled with items donated by various chamber members including golf balls, golf towels, golf tees, and an aluminum thermos.

There were many highlights throughout the day including a first shot Hole-In-One by golfer Joe Woody with Robert G. Campbell & Associates team. Woody shot a Hole-In-One on Hole # 15, where the team started play for the tournament. He received a $250 cash prize sponsored by Farris Motor Company for getting “Closest to the Hole” on Hole # 15. There
were five additional “Closest to the Hole” prizes given on various holes as well as three “Longest Drive” awards.
The top 3 teams in each of the 2 flights also received gift cards to spend in the Patriot Hills Golf Shop for their wins. During dinner, a door prize drawing was held for various donated items with all players being eligible to win.
The Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate each of our winners in this year’s tournament.
