Fill the Truck with Toys Car Show Saturday, November 23

The Mossy Creek Cruzers Car Club of Jefferson County was started in 2012. It is the intent of The Club to share in the fellowship of our communities by donating to charities and families in need.

On Saturday, November 23, The Mossy Creek Cruzers is sponsoring a car show called “Fill the Truck with Toys”. It will be held at the American Legion Post #113 in Jefferson City from 10 AM till 3 PM. This is a benet show for “Christmas in Jefferson County” which makes sure the underprivileged children in Jefferson County has a Christmas.

There will be music and food available provided by the Sons of the American Legion. The show is rain or shine, there will be warmth inside the banquet room of the Legion.

Please help us out by donating a toy or a monetary donation which can be dropped o the day of the car show.

To enter the car show, the registration fee is an unwrapped toy or a monetary donation and you do not have to be a member to enter this show. Three trophies will be given out and will be picked by several people from around Jefferson County. The club operates as a non-prot organization, to promote ownership and to promote enthusiasm for classic/antique cars, to encourage planned trips, events and social activities for members of The Club; to create and promote good fellowship and sportsmanship among members and the community; to uphold and to conduct club functions and activities in a manner betting members of this sort; to promote a better understanding of the restoration of vehicles as a constructive family sport among members of the public, press, and law enforcement agencies; to provide and regulate events and exhibitions for classic/antique car owners; and to encourage careful, skillful and safe driving of classic/antique cars on public highways.

From April through October each year, the Cruzers sponsor the cruise-in in front of Big Lots and everyone is invited to attend.

We have several events each year that the proceeds go to our ability to help our communities in all of the surrounding counties. We organized an event in October that benefit the 2nd Harvest Food Bank which helps 18 counties. Last year we also contributed to an abuse shelter in Morristown, the Shop with a Cop program in Jefferson County, and Christmas in Jefferson County.
