Swann's Marina Ribbon Cutting

Swann's Marina held ribbon-cutting ceremonies July 26, 2012, on the docks of the facility on Douglas Lake off the old Newport Highway in Dandridge. General manager Bernice McCullough said new owner Leroy Denton of Charlotte, NC has made plans for the renovation and expansion of the old boat dock and camping area. The Marina's store is open with a new deck, bar and karaoke and boat slips and cabins are now available. In front, left to right, Chamber of Commerce Membership Coordinator Kaci Anderson, Chamber Board member Robin Parker, Chamber Director of Tourism Adele Sensing, General Manager Bernice McCullough and husband Don, Marina staff member Shannon Zetzsche, Chamber President and CEO Don Cason, Chamber Chairman Daryle Keck and Chamber Board member Max Fultz. In back are Chamber Board member Bob Jarnagin, Bill Black and Marina staff Sherry Rhoton.
