The Scots-Irish Festival is an old-time Main Street Music Festival
in Historic Downtown Dandridge, on the shores of Loch Douglas
in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, honoring the town’s
earliest settlers in 1783.
The festival offers great family fun with entertainers, bands,
pipes & drums, vendors, food and a kid’s area.
Entertainment includes featured bands such as the Celtic
Martins, Lonestar Stout and Thistledown Tinkers as well as a
Pipe & Drum Band Playoff Challenge from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00
p.m.
Demonstration performers will also be available in athletics,
highlands and Irish stepdance.
Schedule of Events:
- 9:00 a.m. – Street festival opens
- 12:00 p.m. (noon) – Pipe Band Parade & Ceremony
- 6:30 p.m. – Ceilidh by the Loch (Concert)
Thistle club patrons and contributors receive reception, close
parking, shuttle service, patrons parlor, reserved Ceilidh seating
and more.
