"Getting Your House in Order"

Since unexpected situations can happen at any age, its important for all adults to be prepared. This seminar focuses on how to leave an organized estate and reduce the stress a person's loved ones will experience during an emotionally difficult time.

From practical matters to making one's final wishes known, the "Getting Your House in Order" seminar provides a ste-by-step approach to collecting critical information and organizing it in one place. Attendees will receive a complimentary "House in Order" workbook that provides guidane on items to consider gathering, such as medical history, estate and financial information, funeral plans and advance directives.

Glenmore Mansion's 150th Birthday Celebration

-Program highlighting the history of Glenmore beginning at 10:15 a.m. by County Historian, Bob Jarnagin

-Cutting and serving of a giant birthday cake to celebrate Glenmore’s 150th birthday

-Self-Guided Tours of Glenmore Mansion

-Storytelling Circle in Glenmore Parlor with different personalities sharing every thirty minutes, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and concluding at 4:00 p.m.

-Live bluegrass music on the stage at 1:00p.m., 2:00p.m. and 3:00 pm.

-Sons of the Confederacy Civil War encampment with historical memorabilia

-Daughters of the Confederacy in period dress will be on the grounds to share information and provide photo opportunities.

Dandridge June Jubilee 2018 is a Rain or Shine festival so be sure to prepare for weather conditions.

Headquarters will be located at the Jefferson County Post Newspaper office on the corner of Main & Gay Street, just a few feet from the event. When you arrive to set up, stop by the office and a festival guide will direct you your location.

The June Jubilee festival area will be closed off Friday night. Set up can start as soon as streets are closed. All vehicles must be out of the enclosed area by 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
