Habitat For Humanity Hosts Budgeting Classes |

Jefferson City, TN – September 30, 2011 – Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity announces a series of weekly budgeting classes that will begin Thursday, October 13, 2011, at 6:30 pm, at the Shady Grove United Methodist Church, 1675 Harold Patterson Road, Dandridge, TN. The series is entitled “Recipes for Financial Fitness” and will assist community residents in learning practical tips for managing money.
The classes will be taught by Jeremy Lawson and Larry Stover. Lawson is a Certified Public Accountant and is the franchise owner of the H & R Block in Dandridge. Stover currently serves as one of the Financial Peace University instructors at Shady Grove United Methodist Church.
The class is open to Jefferson County residents and the cost is $15, to cover the cost of materials. The class is limited to 15 people. Registration is required and the deadline is Monday, October 10, 2011.

Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a nonprofit Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Habitat for Humanity brings together people with resources and people in need to build simple, decent, affordable houses. The houses are sold to those in need at no profit. Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1987 and has built 22 houses in the community.
