CALL FOR INTEREST - Interested in being part of the MOOC Club?  What is a MOOC?  MOOC stands for Massive Open Online Course. These are FREE online courses that cover a wide range of interests.  We can provide the space, the internet connection, fellow MOOC Club members can offer support.  What a fun way to learn something new. March 2, 16, 30 - MOVED TO A NEW DAY - Jefferson County Crafters will now meet every two weeks on Mondays from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  
 
March 5 & 19 - Join us for Día del Niño y del Libro! This bilingual program is for Spanish AND English speakers and learners.  At this story time, books will be shared in both Spanish and English, thanks to partnerships between JCPL and Carson-Newman Spanish level two classes.  This is a new series that connects the community through languages.  This program meets every other Thursday at 10 a.m.  En Español - Este programa bilingüe es para personas que hablan o quieren aprender a hablar inglés y/o español. Durante una hora (during one hour) los libros serán compartidos en español e inglés, gracias a las alianzas entre JCPL y Carson-Newman. Este programa es el primero de una nueva serie que conecta a la comunidad a través del lenguaje. Te esperamos jueves por medio a las 10 de la mañana.

March 9 at 6 p.m. - Jefferson County Library Board Meeting at the Dandridge Memorial Library.

March 9 & 23 - The Coupon Swap Crew will meet every other Monday at 4:30 p.m.

March 14 - Saturday Morning Matinee.  NOW SHOWING G or PG Family Movies on the second Saturday of every month starting at 10 a.m.  Dates are subject to change dependent on construction/relocation schedules.

March 16, 18, 23 & 25 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. – FREE COMPUTER CLASSES - Basic Computing Level 1.  Registration required. Classes are capped at six to ensure optimum learning environment.  Please call 865-475-9094 to register.  Each day covers new material and prepares you for the Level 2 Course offered in late April.

March 19 -  LEGO Story time on the third Thursday of each month from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
 
March 28 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. - Got a new iPad, Kindle, Tablet, phone or laptop?  Bring it in on the 28th and we will show you how to access the Tennessee Regional Electronic Books, AudioBooks Download System to access free books, audiobooks and now video streaming.  Registration required as workshop is capped at 10 participants.

Every Wednesday at 10 a.m. for Ready, Set...Read, Play, Learn - An Early Literacy Skills program.  This program is based on the Every Child Ready to Read Initiative and the TN Early Learning Developmental Standards, and is designed to prepare children for school as well as to inform parents and caregivers on the importance of their roles in developing strong literacy skills.

Every Wednesday at 4 p.m., for the card game, Magic: The Gathering.  Ages 8 and up are welcome.

Every Saturday at 10 a.m. for a game of chess.
