for Jefferson County Centers
Head Start is a federally funded program available to eligible 3 or 4 year olds at No cost to families.
WHAT DOES HEAD START HAVE TO OFFER?
* Nutritious meals & snacks
* Well-equipped classrooms
* Dental, vision, hearing & speech screenings
* Health & social services
* Education/school readiness
* Parent engagement
* Services to children with disabilities
* Transportation to some centers
When applying, parent(s) or legal guardian must provide proof of income (i.e. tax return or w-2 forms from all jobs,) child's birth certificate and state immunization certificate.
