Team Brookums raises money yearly trough this golf tournament and the Great Strides walk in the fall. All money raised will go to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

A message from the family:
Our lives were forever changed on October 8, 2009 when Brooke was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of 7. Since that day, we have made it our mission to do everything in our power to be a part of finding a cure for Brooke and all the other extraordinary people living with CF. To say that Brooke is an amazing child would be quite the understatement. She is wise beyond her years. Anyone who meets her calls her an "old soul." There is just something very special about her, and many people will attest to that. She's an unbelievable big sister, and when Cash gets older, he will understand just how lucky he is to have her. Brooke is a beautiful, funny, caring and compassionate 11 year old who has not let her diagnosis define her. She does anything and everything that other kids her age do. She has an extreme passion for fast pitch softball and is bound and determined to play college ball. She’s never embarrassed or ashamed about having CF, and she uses every opportunity to educate people on her disease. This world is a much better place with Brooke in it. We are so blessed that God chose us to be her parents. How awesome is that! She truly is "fearfully and wonderfully made!"
