Cherokee Lake water levels are going down and garbage is appearing. Cherokee Lake Users Association and Carson Newman University Students, Operation Inasmuch, are teaming up for a Fall Clean Up on November 4th. 9:30am .

Boats are needed to bring the students to the islands and shorelines. The amount of students that can participate will be determined by how many boats. At this time we have only a few boats for Black Oak Marina and Cedar Hill Boat Dock locations. Last year we had to turn willing students away.

We also need to know locations of island and shorelines needing to be cleaned up.

Please help in anyway you can to make this a successful project for the students as well as all of us. All supplies and dumpsters will be available. TVA has offered us bags, gloves and pickers.

Contact us asap so we can tell Carson Newman University how many students can participate.

Thank you for your support. Enjoy our Beautiful Lake!
