Jefferson County Sampler Planned for September 26

DANDRIDGE, TN – September 5, 2017 – The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce is set to host the 4th Annual Jefferson County Sampler presented by Carson-Newman University Dining & Catering Services on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Carriage House in Jefferson City.

The countywide food-tasting event is designed to showcase the specialties of local restaurants, bakeries and caterers.

The community is invited to join in sampling some of Jefferson County’s finest hometown flavors. Tickets for the event are $15 at the door. Advanced tickets may be purchased for $12 per person through noon the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased at the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, US Bank in Jefferson City and White Pine Town Hall.

In addition to the local cuisine, the event will also feature live entertainment from hometown favorite, GRITS of Dumplin Valley. GRITS will feature a wide range of musical selections including Jazz, Blues, oldies and soft rock and will be joined by a very special guest guitarist, Carson-Newman University President, Dr. Randall O’Brien.

This year’s Jefferson County Sampler is shaping up to be the biggest yet. The event will host more than 15 of Jefferson County’s finest.
