comes to 12 locations in East Tennessee
Tennova Healthcare is kicking off American Heart Month in February with free heart-health screenings at 12 locations.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. The key to preventing heart disease is managing your risk factors, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol or high blood glucose. Avoiding unhealthy habits like smoking and living a healthy lifestyle that incorporates good nutrition, weight management and physical activity can also reduce your risk for a life-threatening heart attack or stroke.
Appointments are required.
Call 1-855-TENNOVA (836-6682) by February 15 to register for the free screening.

The simple screening involves one prick of the finger. Participants will receive their cholesterol panel and glucose reading in less than seven minutes. Eight-hour fasting is required.*
