The Point Resort is starting the
"Summer 14 Challenge"
in Jefferson County with donating $5000 to the
Boys & Girls Club of Dumplin Valley for their summer program that provides children with
Free Food & educational programs.
This is a challenge to All businesses and members of Jefferson County to become an active part of helping our county raise a better next generation and your help is requested to accomplish this goal.
GOAL...
Monies raised will aid in feeding children that attend the Boys & Girls Club of Dumplin Valley during the 2014 summer. Most children that attend the club are on free or reduced lunches During the School Year & many will not have adequate meals during the summer due to
No School Meals.
The club will provide a proper breakfast, lunch & snack during the day as well as shelf items that children can take home where they may have little or no food, in addition to providing safe and educationally stimulating programs for children during the day while their parents or caretakers work.
NO CHILD SHOULD EVER
GO HUNGRY
IN JEFFERSON COUNTY!!!
