The Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting applications for th 16th Leadership Jefferson County Class.
Leadership Jefferson County begins in September and continues for eight months with nine one-day sessions ending with a graduation dinner in June.
The sessions are conducted by leaders in the their field who will cover topics such as leadership training, agriculture, education, human needs and services, state and local government, tourism, and business and industrial development. In addition to these regular general sessions, the class must also attend meetings of the School Board, County Commission, City Council, and the Planning Commission. The purpose of the program is to develop leaders who will have a positive impact on the growth and development of Jefferson County.
