Event Description: Tennessee Homeland Security District 2 is hosting a Continuity of Operations Planning Seminar at the Four Points by Sheraton Knoxville Cumberland House Hotel (1109 White Avenue, 37916) Speakers and topics include: •Mr. Jeff Crenshaw, President of Continuum, Inc., will be speaking about his years of experience handling disasters. •Ms Mickie Valentine, national consultant on business and economic disaster will be speaking about her extensive work with Gulf communities recovering from the Gulf oil spill. •General Warren Edwards, U.S. Army (retired), will be speaking about CARRI's mission to understand and build resilience encompassing the entire community and how that applies to the private and public sector District 2 training funds are being used to support this seminar, so there is no cost to attend.
