The New Market Volunteer Fire Department is gearing up for it's 8th annual SummerFest to be held in June.
Fire Chief Sammy Solomon says they are starting to accept applications for vendors and looking for sponsorships to help make this year a big success.
The two-day festival will take place June 22 and 23 at the New Market Roadside Park.
Beginning Friday, June 22 at 5 p.m. Solomon expects to fill the park with inflatables, a carousel, a dunking booth and various other kid friendly activities.
Layel said the proceeds from this year's festival will go towards the NMVFS's annual fire truck payment of $59,000.00
"We are non-profit organization that relies on fundraisers and donations. We invite the public to join us during these two days of clean family fun," Solomon said.
Sponsorships start at $100 and the cost to register for vending is $25.
