GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Get ready for a spectacular evening of memorable pop rock ballads when the Niswonger Performing Arts Center welcomes Grammy® Award winner Michael Bolton to the stage. Bolton will perform to a sold out crowd on Thursday, September 14th at 7:30 PM.
Known for his soulful voice and touching lyrics, Michael Bolton has sold over 65 million records with hits such as "When A Man Loves A Woman," "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You," "Georgia On My Mind" and many more. Bolton has won two Grammys® for Best Pop Male Vocal Performance, six American Music Awards, and holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
As a songwriter, Bolton has earned over 24 BMI and ASCAP Awards, including Songwriter of the Year, nine Million-Air awards, and the Hitmakers Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has always balanced a love for writing new songs with a passion for covering the classics. Bolton has collaborated with some of the greatest songwriters and producers of our time including Bob Dylan, Lady Gaga, Diane Warren, David Foster, A.R. Rahman, Phil Ramone, and Ne Yo. Over 100 artists, ranging from KISS, Barbra Streisand, and Cher to Kanye West, Jay Z and John Legend, have recorded Bolton’s songs. His songs and performances have been featured in numerous television and film soundtracks, including the Oscar-nominated theme song “Go the Distance” from Walt Disney’s blockbuster animated film Hercules.
Grammy® Award winner Michael Bolton performs at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center (NPAC) in Historic Downtown Greeneville, TN on Thursday, September 14th at 7:30 PM. Tickets are on sale now for all performances for the entire 2017-2018 season and may be purchased online at www.npacgreeneville.com, in person at the NPAC box office, or by calling 423-638-1679.
NPAC offers online seat selection with no processing or delivery fees. There is an additional $1.50 ticketing fee per ticket regardless of purchase method. The box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10 AM until 5 PM. The 1150 seat performing arts center is located adjacent to the campus of Greeneville High School.
